Keith Semple was born in Slough, near London, but regards the small but significant North Sea port of Harwich – surely familiar to many of you in northern Germany and Scandinavia – as his home town.
Apart from a brief interlude in Switzerland in 1986-87, Keith has lived in Germany continuously since 1986. He acquired his qualification as a state-recognised translator in 1993 from Dortmund Chamber of Industry and Commerce. He has been translating ever since.
Keith has been a member of ADÜ Nord, the professional association for translators and interpreters in northern Germany, since 1998. He can also draw on a wealth of experience in the international hotel and leisure sector, high-level market research and financial services.
